Holistic Personal Trainer Tanya Gendle
It is my purpose in life to help those who want to be helped through diet and exercise lead healthier lifestyles.
I have been helping people achieve their fitness and health goals for over four years and am passionate about supporting you where you are at on your journey.
One of the reasons I become a trainer was the fact that I loved the gym and working out, then in 2005 I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27 and suffered a major mental break down. It was this event that made me realise that I needed to help myself and change the way I lived. I am now five years clear from cancer and depression but every day I strengthen myself emotionally physically and spiritually. I believe that we create everything in our immediate world through the thoughts we have, and how we feed our body not only with food but physically as well as emotionally. I have invested in continuing education around holistic lifestyle in my quest for greater health and now share this knowledge with my clients empowering them through teaching.
My philosophy is simple, your thoughts become things and life is about balance, 80% of the time make loving healthy choices and the other 20% you can afford. I don’t believe in no pain, no gain, I believe in listening to your body and then guiding you so you get the most out of your sessions. My intent is to support you in a nurturing way enabling you to help yourself achieve your goals.
Holistic Personal Trainer – Nathan Burgess
I am here to help support you in achieving your goals.
My story starts as a young child. I was bullied at school for being overweight to the point where I was being physically harmed and had to change schools. I had no confidence in myself and the bullying continued even after the change. At the age of 15 I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident which left me hospitalised for weeks. I remember lying in the bed looking down at my body and deciding that I would not live like this anymore. I started to lose weight during rehab and over the coming 12 months I lost 26kgs, a third of my body weight. My driving force at first was to get fit so I didn’t get picked on anymore, but as I continued to lose the weight my confidence started to increase and I became a school prefect. I have taken my love for fitness and turned it into a career where I can now help others to help themselves on their journey.
